Today we had to go to the High School, and the lessons start at 8 AM so I've had to get up at 6, I've had a shower, I've cleaned my teeth, I've dressed up, I've picked up my breakfast and I've left home. It's almost an hour by car from Michelle's home to school, so at 7 AM we've left home in her own car (people in America can drive when they are 16).
When we've arrived at school we've met other Spanish students, so Michelle has gone to her class and I've gone with my friends to a different class. At first we were watching a Spanish movie, but students from another class have come and asked if we wanted to go and practise English and Spanish at their class. So we have gone there and talked about culture, languages and different traditions that we have.
Then, we've been to Mrs Piazza's class, where we've spoken about American and Spanish stereotypes. It was really nice to share our believes and what we think about other countries.
After it, all Spanish students met the headmaster, who has given us a Flint Hill coin which means that the doors are open for us if some day we want to come back here, and he has invited us to have a snack all together!
Before having lunch, some Spanish and American students have played a basketball game together, because we had a free hour. At 12 AM we've had lunch, and after, all my classmates stayed at the commons doing some homework.
When the lessons have finished I went home with Michelle, we did homework and she has gone to her swimming practise, so I went with her mum to buy some food for dinner. When we arrived home I prepared the dinner, because I wanted to let them try "pa amb tomàquet" (slices of bread with rubbed tomato). At 6,30 PM we had dinner, and they really liked it! When we finished, I went to have a shower and to sleep, after a very tirying day.
