Today we have visited Mount Vernon that was the house of the 1st President of the United States of America, George Washington and of his wife Martha Washington.
At 8:30 in the morning we took a bus from Flint Hill Upper School and we arrived at Mount Vernon at 9:00 o'clock and we entered at the Visitor's Center and the museum where we saw some of the objects that George Washington used to use every day.
At 11:00 we went inside the house that it has 21 rooms and in one of the sides of the house there are a line of chairs where you can sit in and look at the view of Potomak River and its lovely landscape of hills, grass, trees and water.
When we returned home I played the pool game with my exchange student, Pranav. I show a picture of it and today we also had Indian food for dinner! It was delicious!
