10th Day - Wednesday 16th September by Dana Timar

Hi boys and girls! Today it is our 10th day in Washington and we have enjoyed it a lot. At first we went to DC with all the group and the teachers and then we took the metro and went to visit the White House, it was incredible, the house was beautiful and we saw the gardens too with lots of squirrels and we love them.
The second thing which we did was to visit the Washington Monument closed to President's Park, it was so big and tall and it is the center of the city.
Then we went to visit Lincoln Memorial and the War Monument and we took many photos there since the view was amazing with the sun in the sky!
After that, we've been in Constitution Gardens and there were written the names of the people who were in the war, the soldiers. Also, it was really interesting to see the flame burning as it never turns it off.
At the stairs of Lincoln Monument there was the sentence that once Martin Luther King pronounced to the audience "I had a dream ..." it was very impressive.
We visited two more war memorials; the vietnam and the Korean and we finally ended in the Arlington National Cemetery where only very important people are buried there such as astronouts, presidents, scientists and important military soldiers among others.
In the evening we went to the school where our families pick up us and everyone does something different.
Another day, anorher experience!
