Today I woke up at 6.30am. We got into the car to go to school. We met at 8.00am in the high school to go to Washington DC. The Flint Hill School (FH School) lend us a school bus from FH to the subway. Then we took the subway to Washington DC where we got off in Smithsonian subway station.
While we were walking along The Mall to the US Capitol we ate our lunch as we couldn't bring food inside. There we had a guided tour and we listened to all the explanations in English of our guide along the tour. After visiting the US Capitol we visited the Capitol Library and later we went to visit some museums: the National Gallery of Art, the National Museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian castle. We also walked the National Sculpture Garden and the magnificient Mall.
I enjoyed the National Museum of Natural History most because I don't understand much about art.
After visiting the museums we took the subway to go back to Vienna Station and then the Spanish teacher was waiting for us and drove us back to FHS school.
When we arrived, I met Michael and then his father drove us home. He showed me where he works and some bones and rocks as he collects them. I really enjoyed seeing the bones. I love them.
When we arrived we played cards and at 8.00pm (more or less, at dinner time) we went to a Japanese restaurant where I could taste new food that I've never eaten before. Honestly, I prefer my tradicional food.
I really like my family, they're very nice and take care of me.
