11th Day - Thursday 17th September by Adrià Barrufet

On Thursday 17 I woke up at 6:00, after I had breakfast; two croissants, strawberry jam, orange juice and a coffee. At 7:00 we went to school, other Spanish students there were waiting for the bus to go to Mount Vernon, so we had time to go to the first half class, we went to maths class Núria Güell, Xenia Llobera and me. In the class we got a maths problem, and we solve faster than other American students in our table.

After that we went to the Mount Vernon. When we were there, we visited different things: the first was a museum where it was explained the lives of slaves and the life of George Washington. We also visited the visitor's center which was quite interesting. After this museum we went to a guided tour of the home of George Washington, it was awesome !!

Later we went outside the house, we saw the wonderful landscape and made many photos. In the end we went to have lunch outside the building, all boys and girls ate the sandwich we had prepared by our foster parents. At 1:00p.m. we went back to the institute.

I got home at 4:00, I got clothes for sports and went to run in the treadmill, I ran for 1 hour while watching a movie at the same time.

Later I went to have dinner and I ate a pizza and some salad. Then I went to watch television at 9:00 and I went to sleep. It was an incredible day!!!
