14th Day Wednesday 19th September - Washington DC by Hui Lun Cuadrat

On Wednesday we went to The Pentagon, which is the headquarters of United States Department of Defense. As soon as we started arriving, we all were getting so excited, becuase we never thought we would see it in real life. Finally, and after eating lunch, a guide made us a tour through the building and explained us what hapenned the 11th of September. It was really interesting, but sad at the same time. After we finished our visit we went to The National 9/11 Pentagon Memorial where 184 people whose lives were lost at the Pentagon and on American Airlines Flight 77, were buried. After that we went to the Arlington National Cementery, which is United States most hallowed ground. After that, we came back to Flint Hill School and spent what would be one of the lasts afternoons as host students.
