8th Day Thursday 13th September - Washington DC by Guillem París

The 8th day we went to school as a normal day. The only thing it changed was that we did an ALICE drill (alert, lockdown, inform, counter and evacuate), where we had to stay in a room quietly and calmly for few minutes. Then, when it was ended with totally success, the director and the Spanish teacher gave us a gift (it was a little stuffed husky, the FHS' symbol, and a school’s magazine with many information about the high school and especially the sports are played in, such as soccer, American football, basketball, rock climbing, athletics, swimming, etc.).

Finally, on the afternoon we went shopping with Paula, Pau and Sameer in a shopping center called Tyson’s. We bought loads of things as clothes, souvenirs, some typical food, etc. I reckon the most impressive thing I’ve bought there, were the American gummies! They’re completely lovely and flavorful! I guess the first place I’ll go when I return to America will be that candy store, undoubtedly!
