On Friday morning I woke up at 5:45 because
we all had meeting at 7:30 in Flint Hill. I ate cereals with milk. It was my last
breakfast with my lovely family. They helped me put the suitcases in the car,
and then I saddly said goodbye to all the members of the family: Natalie's
parents, and his two brothers, Ethan and William. I would miss them so much! We
were leaving to the airport later at 1:55 pm. We got on the car and drove
directly to school. Once there, we met with our teachers. They prepared for all
of us a delicious breakfast such as muffins, cakes, donuts, ... . When the
breakfast was finished everyone went to different classes with their partners.
It was the last time we could enjoy a the differences between American
and Spainsh lessons. After a while I attended Spanish classes and we
learned some things from Mexican immigration. The next class was Econ, where they
did a test and after that I had antrophology. That day the students were
studying different types of rocks and their function in the ancient times.
Finally, the last subject was Phsichology, they were learning about neurons and
cells. It was delightful ! At 11:50 we had lunch in the cafeteria, where I ate
a tasty salad and a sandwich. We were all so hungry! After a while, it was time
to get back to class. At 1:55 pm we left the class we were in. The time to say
goodbye arrived. I must say some of us, including me, started crying as all
these 16 days had been so happy with all the wonderful students and teachers in
Flint Hill. Especially Natalie, my American girl. We had a lot of fun those two
weeks. The unhappy part was saying goodbye from the bus which was taking
us to the airport. After that, we arrived there. We were ready to take the
plane. We bought some souvenirs at the airport while we were waiting for our
departure. Our flight got off from the Washington airport at 6:10 pm and
arrived at Barcelona eight hours later, at 7:50 am. We put our suitcases on the
bus and after all these amazing and unforgettable sixteen days we were going
home with our families!
