Today has been a great day in NY.
In the morning we went to Central Park where we rented bikes. We spent one hour doing the lap. While we were ciclying we took photos and saw the sight. After the lap, we walked inside the Central Park where we took more photos and we saw an awesome landscape and skyline of NY.
In the middle of the day we had lunch in the 7th avenue.
After lunch we got the subway to go to Coney Island where we saw the beach with thousands of birds such as seagulls and an atraction park.
In the evening we got the subway again and we visited the Rockefeller Center. Then we went shopping along the 5th Avenue shops and had dinner in front of the famous Empire State Building.
At night we went to see the famous bridge: the Brooklyn bridge. We walked along it and the views were fantastic. The skyline of NY by night was incredible.

2nd Day - Tuesday 8th September by Maria Masip

The second day of the trip we got up at 9:30 am because we went to sleep at 4 am the day before. That morning we went to visit the Ground Zero, World Trade Center, Wall Street and when we finished those visits we went to catch a ferry. That ferry transported us to Liberty Island and there we visited the Statue of Liberty in Liberty Island and then we visited the Immigration Museum in Ellis Island. We had lunch in Liberty Island and I ate a hamburger with salad and cheese. It was very good! When we finished to visit Ellis Island we went to the 5th avenue and visit the Empire State Building. We stayed there for a long time and we could see all the New York city during the day and night. I like New York city at night with all of the lights in the buildings. It was perfect. When we finished we went to have dinner in an Italian pizzeria and then we went to Times Square and Broadway. We were very tired and went to sleep when we arrived at the hotel we were exhausted! It had been a long day!

2nd Day - Tuesday 8th September by Xènia Llobera

Today was the first day visiting New York.

First we started visiting the World Trade centre where we saw the basement of where the twin towers were set and the big space where the Twin Towers once stood, now waterfalls rush into two enormous square memorial pools. That is what I liked the most. Then we went to visit two churches near the towers that were very important on the 11th of September; Saint Paul's church and Trinity Chuch. After watching the new skyscrapers in that area of Manhattan such as the Liberty Tower, we went to visit the area of Wall Street, the permanent and principal home of the New York Stock Exchange, the beating heart of the finantial district. Next we went to catch the ferry to go to see the Statue of Liberty. It was amazing! We also visited the 'Grand Central Station,' the historic Grand Central Terminal that is a famous NYC landmark in Midtown Manhattan. Later we went to visit the Empire State Building that is a 102-story skyscraper located in Midtown Manhattan toobetween West 33rd and 34th Streets. It has a roof height of 1,250 feet (381 m), and with its antenna spire included, it stands a total of 1,454 feet (443 m) high. Finally we went to walk and admire the impressive Times Square with thousands of lights that left us completely astonished!

The second day we woke up at 9.30 am because the day before we go to sleep at 4.30am. We were very tired. First of all we visited the zone 0, the world trade center, the wall Street and we caught a ferry to visit the Liberty Statue in the Liberty Island and we visited the Immigration Museum on Ellis Island too. In the afternoon we went to the 5th avenue and visit  the Empire State too. From the Empire State we had wonderful views of all the city of NY. We stayed for a long time, there till very late. So we saw the city in daylight, the sunshine and in a dark blue sky with thousands of lights in all buildings. Late at night we visited the Times Square and Broadway and sat in some red stairs in the middle of the square watching the wonderful view of the large number of lights.

1st Day - Monday 7th September by Sara Camí

Today it's the first day we stay here. It was a long day. First, we caught the bus at 5:45 in les Borges Blanques. At eight o'clock we arrived at the Barcelona airport and the people who work there told us that our plane was coming late from US. Finally we got into a plane and we took off Barcelona at two o'clock. The trip was very long and boring but we slept a lot and watched lots of films.
When we arrived in Philadelphia we didn't have any transport to go to New York as we had lost the conection due to the delay. The people there told us that we had to sleep there and in the next morning we would fly to New York but we said no and we went to catch lots of trains and at last the NY subway. At the end, we reached our hotel at three o'clock at night. We were very tired!

1st Day - Monday 7th September by Biel Cardona

At 5:45 we caught a bus from Les Borges Blanques to Barcelona Airport "El Prat". At 8:00 a.m. we arrived at the airport and then the airline workers told us that the plane would arrive late. In theory we should take off at 10:45 but we took off at 14:30 so we arrived in Philadelphia at 22:45 because the flight lasted 8h and 15min. In principle we should take another plane to NY but because the 1st plane arrived late we lost the flight and we spent more than an hour trying to find another transport. Finally, we took a train at 12 o'clock and we arrived in NY Penn. Station at 1:45. We got to the YMCA hostel at 3:00 and we went to the rooms at 3:30. Our day had 30 hours!!!!!
