Hello! Today I woke up at 6:30 am, which is now my daily routine in Ananya's house. We got ready and ate an omelet with toast. We left for school at 7:30 am and Ananya left me in the front with the other people in my group. We took the bus to the metro, and then we took the metro to the Pentagon memorial. There we saw the memorial of the 184 people that died on September 11, 2001. The architecture design of the memorial was very beautiful. Then, we had lunch at 11:00 am. I ate a turkey sandwich and clementines. After lunch, we went to the Pentagon. It was very different than what I had imagined. There were a lot of shops, restaurants, and Starbucks inside!! I thought there were only going to be offices. Afterwards, we went to the mall to have a break and have icecreams and took the metro to the Arlington National Cemetery. The people buried were soldiers who lost their lives in different wars. There was also John F Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy's tombs. Then we took the metro back to Flint Hill, and Ananya's mom picked me up. I came home and tried bruschetta for the first time. Then we cooked dinner, and then went to pick up Ananya from the hospital where she was volunteering. Then we did some homework, and ate dinner. We decided to go to get a free ice cream cone, but it was closed! So, we came home, had showers, and went to bed. It was a good day!!
Our trip to the USA or to Catalonia explained by our students. They have shared and shown their most outstanding experiences, information about the most important landmarks we have visited, their improvement at the English or Spanish Language, some reviews of their everyday life and their most beloved memories though photographs. You can also find some useful tips for the school exchange trip and learn differences between British English and American English.
