We woke up earlier than yesterday and we have had breakfast near our hotel. We have been at the New York subway for the first time making our way to the 11th September Memorial, which is a kind of monument in honor of those who lost their lifes that day. After seeing it and the whole museum, we started making our way to the place where we had to take a boat to visit the Statue of Liberty. Before we got there, we stopped to see Trinity Church, which is a nice church and we the end of a mass inside. We walked along Wall Street and the Stock Exchange Building. We visited the statue of the Wall street bull. We visited Battery Park and some sculptures we found there, such as the world, a symbol of peace that was placed in the hall of one of the Twin Towers for more than three decades and it was half destroyed in the 11/9 attacks. Now it is there. We also saw the new tower called Freedom tower. We got a ferry and spent much time at the Statue of Liberty seeing the skyline of New York but once we've got back from the island where it is, we went to visit Ellis Island, the place where inmigrants arrive in USA. Back to Manhattan we went to visit the Brooklyn bridge and we took some lovely pictures there. We came back to our hotel by subway.
Our trip to the USA or to Catalonia explained by our students. They have shared and shown their most outstanding experiences, information about the most important landmarks we have visited, their improvement at the English or Spanish Language, some reviews of their everyday life and their most beloved memories though photographs. You can also find some useful tips for the school exchange trip and learn differences between British English and American English.
