Intercambio escolar por Jake

Hola Todos!

Lyrics

Verse 1

Time is waistin', we just sitting here, we're playin'. Our time is right now, to be there, to show you, to ask you, to know you, better than I had before.
We haven't, known each other for too long, it just happens, it just happens your the one, I want to, impress for, you're someone, I'd give for, so what do you think about?

Pre-Chorus
Talking more with me, it's killing me knowing that we are so close and that you, can't see what you mean to me, just tell me what I need to be, then I'll see,

Chorus
But give me one, Kiss kiss, what do you think about, it's just u, just you and me right now. We haven't talked in so long, I think it's time we get along
Tomorrow’s coming coming faster then we ever knew, I think it’s time, I think it’s time, we get this through.

Verse 2
:
Y ahora estoy aquí, esperando un si, tu respuesta, significa mucho para mi, what do you think about?

Pre-Chorus:
Talking more with me, it's killing me knowing that we are so close and that you, can't see what you mean to me, just tell me what I need to be then, I’ll, see,

Chorus:
But give me one, Kiss kiss, what do you think about, it's just u, just you and me right now. We haven't talked in so long, I think it's time we get along
Tomorrow’s coming coming faster then we ever knew, I think it’s time, I think it’s time, we get this through.

Bridge:
Its just I tried so hard to get you, don’t want to make you feel so pressured, so take your time, im right here.

Chorus:
But give me one, Kiss kiss, what do you think about, it's just u, just you and me right now. We haven't talked in so long, I think it's time we get along
Tomorrow’s coming coming faster then we ever knew, I think it’s time, I think it’s time, we get this through.

17th Day - Wednesday 23rd September by Maria Masip

Yesterday I woke up at 6 and I went to Flint Hill with Olivia. We went to class the first hour and then we went to the school bus to go to a museum next to the airport. We visited the Air and Space Museum, which was near my house. I liked this museum a lot but the visit was very long as we had a tour guide for two hours. When the visit finished we came back to Flint Hill and I waited for Olivia. When she finished her classes we came back to her house. I had a bath and then I went with Olivia and her parents to a Golf Club and we had dinner there. It was a beautiful place. There was a water fall and we took a lot of photos. It was a nice dinner. At 9 we came back to her house and I went to sleep. I was very happy but very bad too. I don't want to leave! Thank you Susan, Juan and Olivia for these days. You are my American family!!!!

16th Day - Tuesday 22nd of September by Biel Cardona

Today we've gone to the Newseum in Washington D.C. there we saw the history of the news of the United States of America; at the end of today's review there are more than two dozens of important news. After seeing a 4D movie in Newseum too we had lunch viewing how DC is preparing to receive the Pope Francis. After that we went to the American Indian Museum, that was beautiful.
In the afternoon we went around all the Tidal Basin and we saw Jefferson Memorial, Roosevelt Memorial, Thomson Memorial, a Japanese Pagoda from Yokohama and Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.
Today was a very busy day but it was cool.
Yesterday I made the dinner for my hosting family; I cooked 2 Spanish omelettes and tomato bread with cheese. They liked all the dishes a lot and they ate everything and they said that it was tasty and delicious.
I also add a photo of that and of me and my family having breakfast on Sunday morning at IHOP (International House of Pankakes).

16th Day - Tuesday 22nd September by Sara Camí

Hi!
We are finishing our stay here in the United States and we are sad because we don't want to leave because we are enjoying this new experience and we don't want to finish it.
So today was a long day. In the morning I woke up at 6:20 like every day and I dressed up, cleaned my face and took my things for the day. At 6:55 I went to the kitchen. There Ally and her brother Jack were having their breakfast. At seven o'clock we left home and we went to the middle Flint Hill school to leave Jack and then Ally and I went to the upper school. When we arrived, it was so early and none of the other Spanish students were there, so I had to wait for them alone.
At 8:30 all the Spanish students took the school bus which brought us to the metro station as everyday we have an outing to DC. After fourteen subway stops we got off and we were in the heart of Washington DC.
First, we visited the Newseum which is an interactive museum of news and journalism. There we saw lots of things and we spent a good time with everybody and we took some funny photos. We also watched a 4Dimension movie which was  fantastic. After the visit in this museum we had lunch outside sat in some benches and then we went to the Indian Museum  and had a shorter visit because we didn't have much time if we wanted to do all we have at the schedule.
Later we went round Tidal Basin till Jefferson Memorial admiring the lines of cherry trees that were there. I liked a lot the landscape and I took some photos of all. To visit everything we had to walk around the whole huge lake called Tidal Basin.
I like the lake but we had to walk a lot and very fast so we hadn't much time to rest and admire the views.
While we were walking around the lake we also saw the Martin Luther King Memorial and the Rosvelt Delano Roosevelt Memorial.
At three o'clock we went to the metro and after fourteen stops we arrived at the metro station called Vienna where one bus of Flint Hill School brought us back to the high school.
I had to wait until six and then Ally brought Mariona to her house which is near our house and finally we arrived at house at 6:45. At 7:30 we had dinner (vegetables and meat) and now I'm very tired and I have a little headache.
I enjoyed a lot this new experience with great persons and I hope to repeat it next year and I hope you enjoy reading it like us living it!  See you soon!

16th Day - Tuesday 22nd September by Adrià Barrufet

On Tuesday 22 I woke up at 6:00, after I had breakfast; one croissant, one omelette, strawberry jam, orange juice and a coffee. At 7:00 we went to school with Mark's father because Mark was sick. In the hall Guillem and Anna were waiting at other students. When we were all together, we went to Washington DC on the subway.
After walking, we arrived at Newseum: a museum that explains the different topics of the media, we saw very interesting historical photos from all over the world  and a piece of the Berlin Wall. We watched a 4D film and we were reporters for a few minutes. Later we had lunch outside in a bench.

After that, we went to the American Indies museum. Here we saw information about the indigenous: buildings, food, weapons...

To conclude the morning we visited Jefferson's memorial, which is placed beside the lake. There was a beautiful landscape there, with many cherry trees, a present from the Japanese who also placed a Japanese Pagoda next to the lake. We took many photos everywhere. We went back to the subway and returned at our high school. When I got home I watched TV, I had a cheeseburger and french fries for dinner.
It was a great day!

I want to say goodbye, because it is the last time I write in this blog. I really enjoyed this trip, it has been an awesome experience. I hope to repeat it!

15th Day - Monday 21st September by Ferran Prats

Hi dear viewers of the blog. I am sorry for the delay but I have been very busy. Now I am going to explain you what I did yesterday. But firstly I want to say that this trip is being awesome and I am a bit sad because it is almost finished.

Yesterday I woke up at 6:30 and I went to have breakfast with my friend Jake at McDonald's. Then we bought some doughnuts for Jake's class because it was an F day and Jake had to bring food at school.

It was not a typical class day. Firstly we attended maths class. When it finished, we went to eat Jake's doughnuts and we played the guitar and sang. After that, we had lunch and then we went to the presentation of the "All-school gathering" of FHS! It was so funny because there were all the students and the youngest and oldest students of FHS hand in hand at the same ground!

In the afternoon we went to eat an icecream, saw a volleyball game at school (they lost) and, finally we went to the restaurant "Chipotle" to eat a 'burrito'.

It was a fantastic day!

Thanks for reading our blog!
See you soon!
