4th Day Sunday 9th September by Guillem Paris
The 4th day in New York we first went to Harlem (a neighbourhood), where we were so lucky to assist on a mass, where black people sang gospel while they were praying. After that, we had brunch (breakfast and lunch together) as we hadn’t eaten yet. Then, we took the subway and we went to Coney Island, an Amusement Park next to the beach.
Finally we saw the Empire State Building and we visited for the last time Times Square.

4th day Sunday 9th September - New York by Abril Mañero
On Sunday morning we woke up early at 6:00 a.m because at 7:40 a.m we needed to be prepared at downstairs already to visited New York and had breakfast near the hotel.
First, we took the subway, and we went to a Harlem Church. We are spent a lot of time waiting in the line of persons. When we finally entered I saw people singing gospel in there and praying. It was very exiting! Then, one part of the group went to have lunch in a restaurant but the other part and I went to eat a tasty crepe. I was very happy because not every day you see one group of people singing and after you goes to have a delicious crepe in new York city!!! But moreover the day didn't end here.
At afternoon, I was more exited because we took the subway, and we visited Coney's Island park. I was seeing a lot of attractions but wasn't possible push up attractions because the weather was raining and we decided to went to one candy's shop. Moreover we ate in a restaurant on Coney Island, and we celebrated Oana's Birthday! After that, we got back to the subway, and we decided to go at Times Square, and we had 30 minutes to go shopping and after this we look for a supermarket, and we bought some lunch for the next day.

4th Day Sunday 9th September - New York by Blanca Palau
Our 4th day started waking up at 7am.
After being all ready, we decided to take the subway close to Harlem street.
While we were walking we saw the Columbia university, it was so big and a bit
different from the ones in Spain! At 9.30 we arrived at the church, we waited
for the church because it was starting at 10. For our surprise, just behind us
there was a Catalan couple so the wait became funny with them. It was an
amazing service and they sang pretty good, but it wasn't allowed to take photos
inside. I would love to see them singing again!
Once the service was finished we went to
have brunch. I decided to have an amazing strawberry crepe. After that we took
a subway directly to Conney Island. There we saw a huge amusement park, the one
that usually appears in Americans films, and of course I took a lot of amazing
pictures. We had lunch in a fancy restaurant and there we celebrated Oana's
birthday. She was so happy! Later at night, we enjoyed the views of the Empire
State from down the street, with all the lights. After that we went shopping
for some souvenirs.
Finally, that night we went to Times
Square again to see all the shops and we bought a few souvenirs more . We all love shopping! Thereafter we
ate some dinner and at the end of our night we went back to our hotel, because
the next day we would have to get up so early. We were going to meet our American
host families for the next sixteen days.

On Saturday we took a ferry and we went to see the Statue of Liberty. It was a warm day and the views from the ferry were awesome. We could take great pictures with our estelada asking for freedom. In the afternoon we went to Central Park. It is a huge park, it is the green heart of the city . Finally we went to Brooklyn Bridge. It was dark so the views of the skyline were great. It was a really long exciting day!!!
