2nd Day Friday 7th September - NY by Ariadna Feliu

On friday we went to zero zone by subway. We saw the national 11th September memorial, was very amazing and sad. Later we visited the One World Observatory, it was a very tall building and we could see the espectacular landscapes of New York. When we finished the visit we had lunch and we went to Wall Street, we took a lot of photos with the sculture of the bull. After that we visited the MoMA,a Museum of Modern Art, i didn't enjoy it because I don't understand the art but I liked the Starry Nigth. We saw the beatifull Rocke Feler. Later we went to Times Square, it was awesome and we took a lot of photos, New York is amazing in the night. Then we came to the hotel.

1st Day Thursday 6th September by Tània Camí

This day was kind of boring because we just traveled to America.

I woke up at 5:45 a.m. because we had to be in Les Borges Blanques at 6:45 to take the bus to go to the El Prat Aeroport ( Barcelona)

At this time all the students were there so we were in the bus like an hour and half.

When we arrived at the airport we did all the necessary “controls” to be able to fly.

The flight was quite long because my close friends were sleeping but Pau made it easier to endure.

It was a long day because when we left Spain it was 12 a.m. and when we arribed to U.S.A. it was 2 p.m.

After doing more necessary “controls” and waiting a lot we took taxies and we went to the hotel. 

We all were really tired and we went to sleep really early. 

1st Day Thursday 6th of September by Hui Lun Cuadrat

That day we took a bus from Les Borges Blanques to Barcelona, and from there we took a flight and went to New York. The views were amazing and eveyone wanted to arrive as soon as possible. When we arrived we went to the hotel and started unpacking our suitcases and acomodating. Also, while we were on our way to Royal Park Hotel we got to see Brooklyn Bridge from the far, and some other places in New York. We had a good start because the taxist and the flight attendants were so nice with us, and everyone was in a great mood and excited. We also liked the views of New York at night. What a great day

1st Day Thursday 6th September by Oana Danis

On Thursday we took a bus to went to Barcelona-El Prat Airport, to take a flight and to go to New York. We stayed 8 hours and finally arrived. Everybody wanted to arrive and see New York. We took a taxi and we went to the hotel. When we arrived at the Royal Park Hotel we started unpacking and then we went to have dinner near the Hotel. And finally we went to see Brooklyn Bridge and went to sleep because we were very tired. It was a good start because people were very exited to see New York and visit more things there. It was a perfect day!

1st day -New York by Pau Domenech



On the first day, we had to wake up so early in the morning because we took our plane at 12am from Barcelona! Leaving Borges at 7am and very excited our trip started there. The plane was not good for me, I got bored and couldn’t sleep so I was like I didn’t know what I could do. But after that, we went to find the hotel with a crazy taxi driver who almost kill us. We got into the hotel and we went to see things in NYC. It was a cool day!

Making preparations for the next school trip

Time flies and  our school holidays are already over. We are eager to visit and meet you again. Lots of new experiences await us in our next school exchange trip that is about to start. First stop New York City. We are going to visit the most important and well-known landmarks of the city of the skyscrapers, the big apple, the city that never sleeps.
And next stop Washington DC, the capital of the USA and the beautiful place we are going to stay in American families, at Flint Hill School and the city where we will meet our friends and discover the real American life, its customs, history and traditions and some important landmarks of one of the most important capitals of the world.

Let's heat engines! An unforgettable trip awaits us!
